RPT-FOREX-Dollar ticks up a little on FOMC minutes
(Repeats to additional subscribers) NEW YORK, May 31 - The dollar crept up slightly against other major currencies on Wednesday after the minutes from the Federal Reserve Open Market Committee's last policy meeting highlighted inflation risks but offered few new clues to its next interest rate decision at the end of June. The euro <EUR=> slipped to $1.2825 from $1.2835 before the the minutes were published, while the dollar ticked up to 112.40 yen <JPY=> from about 112.35 yen. The dollar's move up was limited and fleeting, however, in an environment of persistently bearish dollar sentiment. Shortly after its pop higher, it had come back to around pre-FOMC levels.
