EMU: German factory orders continue to grow strongly

In March, German factory orders rose a strong 2.4% M/M and 9.9% Y/Y, as the German industrial sector is still booming. Orders were boosted by intermediate (2.8% M/M) and capital good orders (2.9% M/M), while consumer good orders fell 0.7% M/M. On a three monthly basis, capital goods orders are the main driving force behind the increase in orders indicating that investment is still growing strongly.
