The G7 meeting this weekend stressed China to increase the appreciation of their Yuan. In the absence of their commentary on the Euro, it soared to record highs before coming back to lower levels.

JPY strengthened this morning with more equity losses and concerns about the short term debt market as investors unwound carry trades in search of less risky investments.
